15 Feb AZ G&F Quail Wing Bee

Scheduled Noon to 4 PM at the Tucson Office 555 N Greasewood Rd. This is a great opportunity to learn more about quail biology. Wings from the quail wing barrels in Southern AZ will be analyzed to better understand this seasons harvest.

21 Feb Scaled Quail Count at Santa Rita Experimental Range (SRER)

SAQF & AZ G&F need volunteers with pointing dogs and other helpers to count scaled quail at the Santa Rita Experimental Range [ SRER ] on February 21 starting at 6 AM. If people want to come the night before, we will plan dinner and the SRER will provide their two bunk houses. 22 Apr Spring Road Clean Up/Earth Day

Our spring road cleanup is planned 9:00 AM. We clean one mile between Sonoita and Patagonia on Highway 82. This typically takes about 60 minutes. All safety gear and pick up sticks will be provided. Recommend long trousers, long sleeve shirt, sun hat and gloves. Meet at the intersection of Hog Canyon Road and Highway 82. We continue this to promote a positive image in the community and keep Hog Canyon access open.
