-Schedule; schedule for 17-18 hunt season reviewed.  Schedule is available on the web.
-Ron Walp led a hunting ethics discussion.  This is not meant to be chapter policy but was a good discussion on being a better hunter and citizen.  Chapter policy is to follow the law.
-Sarah Gandaria and Cameron Becker provided a presentation on a proposed acquisition of 2100 acres east of Tombstone by QF that would later be transferred to AZGFD.  Our chapter is not involved at this point, although there may be future habitat  improvement opportunity for us.
-Nick Besenick provided some information on post hunt dog care.  He recommended a good examination of feet, ears, mouth and eyes including flushing the eyes with warm bottled water to remove any foreign material.
-Matt Russell brought in two high end dog first aid kits that will be made available for auction or raffle at our banquet.  Thanks Matt!
-Our banquet is scheduled for 3 Feb 18 in Sonoita.  Ticket sales are available online at saquailforever.com or via the attached reservation sheet.  Tickets are limited to the first 200 and we expect to sell out.  In the first week we have already sold over 30 tickets.  We are still looking for donations for the banquet – if you can help or know someone that can please shout.
-Out next meeting will be Thur 18 Jan at Steak Out.  Planned speakers include Tom Sullivan with a chapter Habitat Plan update, Josh Smith U.S. Fish and Game Service with a Buenos Aires NWR presentation and Wade Zarlingo with a presentation on “What Makes a Good Habitat Project”.
